Ruins collection features ruins representing survival, depicted through bodies, moons, cities, sculptures, and machines. The blackness of ash imbues the spaces with melancholy and enigma, creating distance and silence. Classical sculptures come to life and engage with the world beyond their surfaces, reflecting an expansion of our own reality. As an Argentine artist and member of Cryptoarg, Okytomo sees his creative process as a necessary exploration of materials and personal innovation, fueled by his fascination with technology.
